Dublin Ferryport Terminals

Dublin Ferryport Terminals (DFT) is the independent port services division of Irish Continental Group.

The Company owns and operates the most modern container terminal in Dublin Port following a recently implemented €13 million redevelopment. Dublin Port is the Republic of Ireland 's premier seaport, with a total throughput in 2003 of 20 million tonnes.

DFT provides container handling services to Irish Continental Group subsidiary Eucon Shipping and Transport, as well as to a range of third party customers. High frequency freight services also operate from DFT's terminal in Dublin Port to Rotterdam, Antwerp and Le Havre with connections to Cork and Belfast.

In 2004, DFT will add a new berth to its facilities, 180m in length an 11m LAT.
